Once, or maybe twice, in a time and place not unlike here and now, the fate of civilisation was decided from an underground car park; a wilecat controlled a puppet government and the secrets of the universe were hidden in a take-away burger carton and thrown from the back of a speeding taxi cab.

Weird City was produced as a pilot project for late-night viewing on Channel Four TV. The cast included acting legend Trader Faulkner as well as familiar faces such as Mike McKell and Greg Cox.

In a busy city high street, a young couple gaze into a bridal wear shop. The female begins to retch, but rather than spewing-up her breakfast she throws-up silver coins that clatter onto the pavement.
Alerted by this public incident, the dark-hearted ZED abducts the couple and uses various physical and psychological tortures to get her to throw-up her treasure.
According to beautiful Soviet agent Olga Gregarrin, XP1 and XP2 (the couple) are aliens escaped from incarceration in Russia. Olga persuades the Double Detective to take up the case and they begin a search that takes them on a bizarre and perplexing journey.
The Double Detective and the Mystery of Two is a fifty minute drama and was produced on a shoe-string budget. The film is currently doing the film festival circuit and gaining WOW reviews.
